Patrieck Bonnet is a jazz saxophonist from The Hague, Netherlands, whose sound immediately stands out. His tone is warm, full of energy, playfulness and colour. His style is elegant, inventive and lyrical and rooted in the jazz tradition.
He has performed and recorded with orchestras and bands, including the Dutch Jazz Collective and Peter Beets & the New Jazz Orchestra. He has also shared the stage with leading artists such as John Clayton, Benjamin Herman and Ack van Rooyen. Over the years he has developed a distinct personal style as a soloist, arranger and composer. In 2021, he released his debut album Hommage. This album reflects Bonnet’s appreciation for his family’s musical heritage, while also showcasing his compositional style and refined compositions.
Currently Bonnet is working with guitarist Casper Christensen from Copenhagen on the release of a new album, Wildflower (Zennezrecords), which will be released in March 2025.
Dispokinesis
Besides working as a music artist, Patrieck is passionate about helping fellow musicians through DispoKinesis. Since 2022 Patrieck is certified by the Gesellschaft Für Dispokinesis Nach G.O. van de Klashorst.
Dispokinesis is a posture and movement teaching specifically aimed at musicians, developed by G.O. van der Klashorst. Dispokinesis can be used both preventively, and for rehabilitation of playing injuries.
